What keeps me from doing a tessellation is often the problem of how to get a hexagon. Wouldn't it be nice to just buy some?
High white elephant hide paper is a strong and durable paper that is ideal for tessellations. It holds creases well and it is thick enough to handle the many times you will have to do and undo folds without tearing our breaking.
Originally this paper was made for bookbinders and is of archive quality, so the paper will not yellow or decompose for a long time. It has 110g/m². The hexagons we cut for you are 20.6 cm from edge to edge and each edge is 11.9 cm long. The longest distance from corner to corner is 23.8 cm.
With ordering hexagons you agree that the paper is folded along the middles. It is a good starting point for subdivisions for grids (recommended max grid: 32). Each pack contains 12 precut hexagons.
